A Companywide Commitment to Safety

The wellbeing of our employees is the foundation of Kymera International’s success. We have launched a company-wide safety initiative that spans seven countries and 11 sites to ensure that all of our employees are working together toward zero incidents.

Safety committees

We recently launched Safety Committees at each of our facilities to drive this safety focus. The committees bring employees together across functions to identify workplace hazards and implement practical, effective solutions as part of our culture of continuous improvement. In doing so, we identified four key areas for 2021:

1. Near Miss
2. Dust Control
3. Auditing
4. Training

The committees are conducting a global safety slogan contest to further engage our teams in the initiative. The winning slogan will be announced December 8 as the voice of our safety efforts worldwide.

Safety award in Pennsylvania

Our facility in Robesonia, PA, serves as the model of safety excellence. They received the 2020 MPPA Safety Award for working more than 50 months (1,512 days or 4+ years) and accumulating over 1 million hours worked since the last lost time accident in February of 2017.
